With over a decade of clinical experience under my belt, including specialized training in clinical supervision, I bring a wide array of expertise to the table.

My specialties include: Attachment-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Integrative Sex and Couples Therapy, and Somatic Embodiment. I've enriched my skills with additional training in Clinical Supervision, IFS, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and have extensive experience providing evidence-based interventions, including CBT and DBT (skills). My practice spans individual, child, parent-child, and family therapy, and I take an eclectic, integrative approach to both my clinical and supervisory work.

My journey in the field has taken me through various terrains, from community mental health to children's mental health and outpatient psychiatry. I've navigated the intricacies of the non-profit and healthcare sectors and continue to share my wisdom by teaching social work at the post-secondary level. My professional path closely mirrors my personal beliefs and ethics. I'm passionately committed to challenging oppression, racism, homophobia, and ableism. I firmly believe in ongoing conversations about intersectional identities and their impact on both personal and societal issues. For me, these conversations are one and the same.

I have successfully grown an established private (turned group) practice, and have helped many other clinicians do the same. Clinicians, who, perhaps like yourself, started with nothing but a desire for change, flexibility, and freedom.

As for my own intersectional identity, I'm a white, queer, neurodivergent settler, deeply committed to exploring and understanding how my identities and privileges shape the work that I do. I have a steadfast commitment to ethics, and pride myself on remaining heart-centred, while embracing my entrepreneurial spirit. I believe that it IS possible to be a successful business owner, while prioritizing our ethics and values and safeguarding the wellbeing of the folks we support.

In our partnership, I always bring my authentic human self. I'm easygoing, approachable, and open-hearted, fostering a space that's free from judgment. I vividly remember the early days of my career—feeling like a deer in headlights, battling imposter syndrome. It was seasoned mentors who illuminated my path, and I'm here to provide the same guidance for you!

If you're a registered social worker or psychotherapist, whether seasoned or aspiring, and you share a similar ethos in your work, I invite you to connect with me for an initial consultation. If you are a therapist, looking to take the leap and start or grow a private practice, there's no need to reinvent the wheel—I've got you covered! It can feel pretty overwhelming, knowing where to begin, and ensuring that all of your ducks are in a row. From procedural, legal, and ethical pieces to marketing, finances, and finding a niche; it can feel like a lot!

7 years ago, I was right where you are, and now, I run an established group practice and provide private practice consultation to other clinicians at various stages in their careers, so they don't have to work so hard to create their practice blueprint and find all of the knowledge and resources necessary to begin and/or grow a practice.

You don’t have to navigate this journey solo! If you are looking for a bit of support to jump start and/or grow your practice, let’s connect.
